Bean North Coffee Roasting has many delicious single origin coffees and blends available. We pride ourselves on our moderate roasting style and - with the exception of the French Roast - our dark roasts aren't oily. The majority of our coffees are roasted as a light-medium roast. Lighter roasts bring out the coffee's quality and unique flavours.
Refer to the bean indicatorof all products to find out the roast level of our coffees. Coffees with 1, 1.5 or 2 coloured beans are considered light and medium roasts. Our darker roast coffees have 2.5 or 3 coloured beans, and only our French Roast scores 4 coloured beans.

We currently don't have 2 lb or 5 lb bags available online. Feel free to add a note to your order if you'd like to receive your order in 2 lb of 5 lb bags instead of 1 lb bags, and we'll make sure to package your coffee in the larger bags. This service isn't available for coffees that we sell in 12oz bags.

We're a proud owner member of Cooperative Coffees -a green coffee importing cooperative and together we purchase coffee directly from small scale coffee farmers. We visit these communities, meet the producers and their families and have long term relationships with them.
Yes, it is! We are proud to be involved with Fair Trade Proof, an online transparency tool that allows the user to view every piece of paperwork involved in bringing coffee from farmer to roaster. Without proof, anyone can say anything. This site is part of our effort to provide total transparency in the coffee importation process. We believe that the farmers who grow our coffee deserve a high quality of life and a healthy environment to live and work in. Following that belief, we have been building long term working relationships with producer groups and paying a fair price. That ensures higher quality coffee and allows farmers and their communities to achieve some of their dreams.
We roast coffee every Monday and every Wednesday. If your order arrives by 9:30am PST we'll include it in today's roasting day. Orders are delivered, mailed with Canada Post, or ready for pick up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our friendly staff deliver to your home in Whitehorse if you purchase a minimum of 4 lbs of coffee.
Our roastery is closed on most Statutory Holidays which could delay your order.
