This honey processed organic Fair Trade coffee has sweetness of dried fruit, and sugar cane with a hint of bittersweet chocolate.

Most coffees are processed dry ('natural') or wet. This coffee is honey processed which involves the following steps: First the coffee is depulped 24 hours following harvesting, allowing for a slight fermentation of the bean inside the cherry. Next, the coffee is pulped and dry fermented for 24 hours. Coffee is then soaked immediately in water to remove excess mucilage, but not washed. Finally, the coffee is dried in raised beds for two to three weeks. This makes for a very delicious & special coffee!
